This Vieira de Sousa Single Harvest Tawny is from the 2003 harvest. This year was characterized by a normal rainy winter and a dry spring.

Vinification

This wine fermented in the old stone Lagares in Quinta da Água Alta. After fortification with grape brandy, the wine aged in one big cask.

Tasting Notes

Dark Brick red / tawny in color, with delicate nutty aromas and a hint of dried nuts . This wine proves to be of exceptional quality, very aromatic, elegant, balanced and a long finish.
